Random Smile Project has three divisions, each set up to assist, recognize and promote community involvement.
-
Private Smile:
Through Private Smile we’re able to offer temporary
assistance to families or individuals who may be going through difficult
circumstances. Food, clothing, and temporary daycare assistance are just an
example of what we can offer. If you know of someone who may need
assistance, use the short form at right or go to our nominate someone and tell us about it.
BOTH your name and the nominees name will be kept anonymous.
-
Public Smile:
Through Public Smile we’re able to recognize “unsung
heroes” in our community. Do you know anyone who has gone above and
beyond to help someone else? Do you know someone who is a positive
influence in the community? Maybe you know of a teacher who runs special
after school programs on their own time, or a neighbor who helps shovel out
their elderly neighbors after a snowstorm? If so, tell us about it. No matter
how big or how small their act of kindness is we want to know. Please use the short form at right or go to our nominate someone and tell us their story. If the person you
nominate is selected, we’ll shower them with gift certificates to local
restaurants, beauty salons, movie theaters, etc. We want them to know that
their good deeds haven’t gone unnoticed.
-
Youth Smile:
We have an army of kids (1st grade – high school) ready to
do whatever you need. We believe in the philosophy that if children get started
in community service at an early age, their experiences will help to build a
foundation that will stay with them as they mature. Cleaning up neighborhoods,
raking leaves, volunteering at events are all some of the examples of things we
can do. If you have an idea we’d love to hear from you. Please use the short form at right or go to our nominate someone page to suggest a community project.

Note: Random Smile Project will make every effort to provide assistance or give due recognition. However, it is not possible to assist or recognize every applicant. Recipients receive assistance based on available current resources and need. If we are unable to help, we will often make referrals to local agencies.
